RESEARCH - Health & Safety

A very similar video camera to the one were using
In our media lesson we were introduced to complex and technical equipment we will be using over the next 3 months. This included the JVC video camera which costs over £2000, the tripod and lighting and sound equipment. We were taught how to correctly operate the video camera and set up the tripod so that the camera sits solidly to avoid it falling off while filming - this is done by twisting something on the side so that it's secure. We were also shown how to tilt up and down. In relation to the video camera we learnt the purpose of mose buttons including zooming in and out and focusing which is very important during filming. We were also introduced to the memory cards, how to insert them and their importance during shooting.
