FILMING - Shoot 1

Yesterday was our first day of shooting and it went much better than we thought it would! We had a two hour time limit but were done and happy with our shots within about an hour. There were some concerns about the weather but it stayed dry for the duration of time we were in the park for so that was definitely a bonus... In terms of filming, it was quick and productive mainly because we had each shot planned out with camera movements and camera angles already figured out. After each bit of filming we came together and watched back what we had just recorded to make sure it appeared the way we wanted it to. We stuck to our storyboard but compromised/tried different things out for certain shots if we weren't 100% on what we had filmed. One mistake we made was leaving the tripod in the background for a shot however we corrected this by re-recording making sure it was out of view! After watching back what we filmed we are satisfied and don't feel anything needs re-doing. Overall, we are pleased with what we got and we believe our efforts really are going to pay off when the final video is finished. Here are a few photos on shoot...

The storyboard definitely came in handy throughout filming
The camera had to be hand held for the tracking shots
