First of all, in the movie 'PSYCHO', the setting which the other films copied is in the bathroom. The women in this film is taking a shower, while having a shower she is stabbed repetitivly by a male with fast editing in place, at the end whilst she is about to die she grabs the shower curtain, thus causing the shower curtain to collapse. With her dead and blood being flowed drained down the sink hole being the last scene.

RESEARCH - Intertextuality
Itertertexuality is when one movie uses another movies aspects in their own film. An example of this is with the movie 'PSYCHO'. This movie is an example for other film ther films to copy thier aspects of the film, such as: 'What lies beneath', 'Fatal action','The stepfather', and a student thriller called 'Succubus'.
