PLANNING - Initial ideas

As a group we put forward our initial ideas for our thriller opening sequence. 1 member of our group was missing therefore only 2 of us have had in input on what we are going to do. Below is a very general mood board:

We have come up with the idea of a psychological thriller opening based on a mentally unstable woman who goes mad searching for her missing child. The reality of it is that she never had a child which is what she is told by the psychiatrist in the opening. We have decided on the opening being a sequence of cross cutting back and forth between current occurrences (her in the psychiatric hospital) and flashbacks (her frantically searching for her child in a children's play park). We are considering the name 'Dementia' for the name of the film which is another word for insanity. We researched this on Thesaurus.com
