PRACTICE - Preliminary Evaluation

Carrying out the preliminary task allowed us to practice for our real thriller opening as well as notice any issues so we can improve as a group to ensure our opening reaches its full potential. During filming we did not face any major problems. The setting wasn't an issue however the props we used were decided on very last minute which made it very rushed. During the editing process we were faced with some shots that did not run smoothly in sequence as planned for example the transition between:

In order to disguise this we embedded the credits on a black screen in-between. This is something we are going to have to be weary of in the real thing as we must make sure we have enough shots plus some back up ones in case editing doesn't go as planned. Also, we did not leave ourselves very much time to add a soundtrack and/or sound effects and the credits were also rushed. In the real process we will ensure we disperse our time equally between each stage.
