RESEARCH - Health and safety

In one of our media lessons we were given a tour on how to use a high tech JVC which cost £2000 and ll the health and safety check . The reason why we was given a tour was since we needed to learn how to use this complex piece of equipment for filming out thriller opening, and so it would be ignorant if we tried to a use a camera which we hadn't fully grasped the concept on using it fully, and making sure we are all safe using it. The tour ranged from camera lighting to how to insert memory cards. Here is a list of what we were given a tutorial over.
Camera being used throughout the making of the thriller opening.
-How to setup a tripod since needed to keep the camera steady and take still shots
-How to use the tilting and panning function.
-How to insert and ejects memory card.
-How to insert and eject battery.
-How to use appropriate lighting.
-How to manually focus which is a must  know for when you're filming..
-How to zoom in on objects.
