For our first preliminary exercise, we were given a brief that we had to oblige by. This was: "A character opens the door, walks into a room, sits down opposite another character and they share a few lines of dialogue. We included a wide range of shots including a match cut, a shot/reverse shot and we stuck to the 180 degree rule. This is the storyboard we have planned before filming the actual sequence next lesson.
